Statistics is used and abused in the real world because it is a branch of mathematics
dealing with the collection, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of masses of numerical
data. And now a days we use data to prove something is true or false. We see the uses of
statistics in just about everything, in science, medical field, in businesses, and Politics.

Statistics in Science.
Statistics is used and abused in science in a way where scientist prove their theory.
Without the use of statistics, scientists would have a hard time to discover things because they
have no access to the statistics to prove their theories true or false. Scientifical advancement
would be slow, and we would not be using the devices and tools that we use today without the
help of statistics to our scientist.
Statistics in Medical field
Statistics is used in the medical field in a way where statistics helps our hospitals
document and collect data from their patients to help them find the best cure for their disease
and to collect data from the patients to improve their skills in surgeries and diagnostics. It also
helps doctor find new types of treatment for diseases so that they can save more lives and
document or collect data so that they can also help other hospitals by providing important data
for any patient anywhere.
Statistics in Businesses
Statistics is used and abused in Marketing, Advertisement, and business transactions today.
Statistics helps businessman’s make their businesses grow by conducting statistical research and
experimentation to find what is the best to invest or what is the most needed product to sell. It is an
important factor for business to have an accurate statistics because it is one of the key ingredients to a
successful business. Without statistics, it is much harder to maintain and make sure what is what in a
business. It will be a total chaos because statistics helps organize things and without it, our economy
would be not accurate and Inorganize.

Statistics is used in Politics especially to a democratic government because it serves to advance

business and the wellbeing of its citizens. Statistical agencies provide accurate, timely and credible
information, which informs current and future policies. Also in politics, statistical information is a core
