Add a little bit of woodland whimsy to a baby nursery. These sweet rugs are
adorable and easy to make. It is made with hardy, inexpensive acrylic yarn that
washes well and holds up to foot traffic. Have fun with it and if you are on
social media please share your rug at #deboraholearypatterns, I always love to
see finished products!

Materials
Yarn: Rug requires about 1,200 yards of yarn total, worsted weight acrylic (size 4 - medium),
or similar yarn, the yarn is held double.
Notes
• The rug pattern is made with worsted weight yarn held double. If you
purchased a giant one pound ball of yarn then either roll it into two balls or
use the inside and outside strands.
• The initial ch 2 counts as the first stitch. When the pattern calls for the
next stitch to be placed "in that stitch" it means to place it at the base of the
chain, otherwise the first stitch is placed at the arrows as pictured.
• When you see "join", that means to join your round with a slip stitch
at the top of the ch 2 from the previous round.
1. After your last stitch in the round do not slip stitch with the ch 2
2. Remove your hook and pull the yarn through the last stitch
3. Thread the yarn in your needle and insert in the initial ch 2, pull
through to the back
4. Next, insert needle back through the center of the last stitch (where
you pulled through). Gently tighten to match the gauge of your other
stitches.
Directions

Use 2 strands of yarn held together and the larger hook.

Ch 4, join with a sl st in 1st ch to form a ring, (or make a magic loop)
After Round 17 my piece measures about 26 inches across. Yours will vary depending on your yarn

This is started at the tip of the nose and ends at the top of the
