“A convenience store is not merely a place where customers come to buy

practical necessities, it has to be somewhere they can enjoy and take pleasure in
discovering things they like.” A convenience store, bodega, convenience shop, corner
store, or corner shop is a small retail establishment that sells different kinds of product
used in everyday lives.

C- store looks like a profitable business because of its fast expansion in business
Industry so that’s why many entrepreneur try to engage in this business. But despite
that, there are significant challenges facing C-Stores.  For example the location and its
pricing, many customer’s have been complaining of other convenience store’s for their
price hike due to covid-19 as for example, which leads them to find other store’s that fits
their budgets and for them to be able to purchase their needs. Additionally, price gouge
leads many businesses to lose the sales they normally rely on. Which is very difficult for
the business to decide on whether they must increase the price of their product to meet
the changes of the supply, while sacrificing the number of customers to buy their
product. However, Theory of Urbanization implies agglomeration of people and firms,
which reduces production costs. Convenience stores is included in the firms that adjust
their prices to reach towards adaptation and make their products affordable to
consumers. This also gives chance for firms to share a network of information. More
numbers of producers and suppliers also lowers costs and increases variety through
competition and specialization. Hence, the presence of these signifies development in
the communities where the firms are located. Besides that, Urbanization also gives way
for entrepreneurs to make more profits as customer’s population density increases in
line with the increasing number of firms. Following that, is the location which is one of
the most significant issues to settle with to create easy and doable access to the
products. Rainisto (2003) mentioned that location or place is one of the most critical
factors in retailing success and the key to its ability to attract customers. Also, the right
location or place can diminish the cost of transportation and time and raise goods
delivery system smoothly. These can affect consumer satisfaction. Convenience stores
are placed in accessible locations. Thus, Location is especially important for businesses
in the retail and hospitality trades because they rely a great deal on visibility and
exposure to their target markets. But location is also important for service and
manufacturing ventures, which have such costs as advertising, promotion, and
distribution that are a direct result of where they're located. According to The
Australasian Association of Convenience Stores (AACS), the peak body for Australian
Convenience Stores, defines a convenience store as a "retail business with the primary
emphasis placed on providing the public with a convenient location to quickly purchase
from an wide array of consumable products, predominantly food and beverages,
services as well as petrol.

In summary, I choose this business to further discuss the importance and

benefits of upbringing C-stores near urban and rural areas for the people whom seek to
have a quality time of accessing and purchasing their product with ease and with a
reasonable cost fits their pockets. And also, they can save for their transportation cost.
