    EXERCISE 3

    Choose ONE of the provided EPDs, analyzed the structure and make some evaluations using
    SimaPro:

    ▪ Think to the goal and reason of your analysis and fix the Functional Unit, according to the
    parameters chosen to be analyzed
    ▪ Model an equivalent system to the one chosen, highlighting the boundaries of your system and
    the method selected
    ▪ Simulate the model and provide:
    • A qualitative comparison between your system and the one provided in the article
    • What are the differences?
    • What are the confirmed results?

    Use SimaPro.
    Refer to the Ecoinvent database processes (cut off, Unit).

    Use the following three impact analysis methods:


    • Cumulative Energy Demand
    • IPCC 2021
    • ReCiPe 2016 (Midpoint and/or Endpoint)
    Comments the obtained results.
