To Whom It May Concern:

It is my pleasure to recommend Terance Smith for a teaching position within your school. I have
the pleasure of serving as Terance’s clinical field experience supervisor and I have known
Terance since Fall of 2020 as a student in my Family Health and Human Sexuality course,
Secondary Physical Education Methods course and practicum, and during this year as he has
completed his Yearlong Clinical Experience.

As a student in my classes, Terance has always engaged and had a wonderful personality and
disposition. He provides insightful thoughts on the content presented. In addition, he was always
is very detailed in his work, particularly his lesson plans. He is always working to improve
himself as a teacher. Terance has worked hard to improve his teaching style and he is very
creative! He works hard to provide engaging lessons with activities that will further the
knowledge of his students. He executes the lessons with care and provides multiple opportunities
for his students to grasp the concepts. Also, he does a great job of assessing his students and
using this information in his planning. He has developed good relationships with his students and
his students have him great respect!

I strongly recommend that you consider Terance Smith to join your school. I believe that
Terance will be an asset to your program because he has proven to be a great student and will be
a wonderful teacher.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the information listed below.

Sincerely,

Mia Oberlton, Ed.D.
