The very first step in your affiliate marketing journey is deciding what
product or service you would like to promote. If you are having hard

things you are interested in. Ask yourself following questions:

What hobbies do I have?
What is something that I can talk all day about?
What is something that makes me really happy?
What am I passionate about?
I find that the best affiliates are people who are passionate about what
they are promoting. Mostly because they know all the ins and out of the
product and they get really excited about it. Once you are able to get
more clarity on your interests and the types of products you want to
promote, you then need to dig into what each affiliate program looks
like. Let's get one thing straight... affiliate marketing programs are not
all created equal. There are 5 things you need to research before
deciding what affiliate program to promote.
Company Reputation:
Does the company have a good reputation with buyers and affiliates?
If the company's products have a lot of returns then odds are you'll have
to refund the commissions you made (and no one wants to do that!).
does the company pay its affiliates on time? Do they really have the
affiliates' best interests at heart?
Sadly, sometimes the programs don't, so make sure to look into that.
Marketing & Sales Assistance:
Does your program offer help for getting people to buy products?
What are the marketing materials they provide?
Do they have upsells?
Are there free webinars for people to attend?
Are there pre-built images, funnels, emails, etc. you can use?
The marketing materials are possibly just as important as the product you
are promoting. You can have the greatest product in the world, but if
you can't market it correctly, then no one will ever see it.

 Finding Your Perfect Product Or Service

Product Desirability: Is the product something that enough people will

want to buy? If not, you are probably wasting your time. Make sure the
product you choose has enough people that want to buy it!

Cookies: Does the affiliate program have a good tracking system in

place?
How long do the tracking links last? Do they last for 30 days? 90 days?
etc.
This matters because you want to make sure you're still getting credit
for
the referral for as long as possible.

Commissions: Generally speaking, you don't want to promote anything

that
will give you less than 20% commissions. Also, you want to make sure you
can make enough money from your sales, so you don't have to make
thousands of sales every month.

You'll also want to ask: does the affiliate program have upsells you can
make commissions on? Will you get commissions on everything your
customer buys or just the first purchase?
Do the math and if the numbers don't look right to you, then find
something
else to promote.

finding your niche and sub-niche
TOP 3 MOST DEMANDED NICHES

Now that you have your product that you want to promote it is
time to ask yourself,
"Who are the people who would want to buy this product?"
Start this process by figuring out what niche your product is in.
There are 3 core niches in Affiliate Marketing: Health, Wealth, &
Relationships, but there are endless sub-niches.

Determine what niche your product falls into. For example, my

niche & sub-niches are Wealth > Finance > Make Money Online. Sub-
niches:
Health - diet, nutrition, strength training,
weight loss,
Wealth - finance, real estate, investing, sales
Relationships - dating advice, marriage advice,
love
PRO TIP:
Remember that you are new to this & it is good to try
out. STEP 2
different things & step outside your comfort zone.
You do not have to be stuck with the same niche for finding
the rest of your life. Explore what you like & see
what works best for you, you can evolve & change as your
you go. Also, use Google Trends to determine
whether or not your idea is something that is

Step 3 FINDING YOUR

CUSTOMER
Now it's time to get clarity on whom your
customers are going to be. Even though you've
found your niches and sub-niches, you still need
to narrow down your customer base. You need
to find out exactly who you are talking to.
It's important to understand
your customer's likes, dislikes,
hobbies, family life, financial
situation, etc.

You'll find that when you are

able to connect with your
customers on a personal level,
your sales will increase. &
chances are you will be able to
relate to their situation in some
way.

Don't forget: you are here to solve their

problem.

The best places to start are most likely going to be Facebook, YouTube,

TikTok (the hottest one), Instagram, or Pinterest.

Determine which platform would be best for you and

focus on that one platform in the beginning.
However, before you start posting content, do your
research first!

Figure out the following:

· Who are the top influencers on the platform?

Time to get · What groups are your customers joining?

people right to their affiliate link instead of a bridge page.

That's a mistake because the #1 Priority for affiliate

marketers should be building an email list. So, you need to
create a way to capture email addresses first. Start by picking
a funnel builder.

What your sales funnel should consist of?

Opt-In Page

This is where the users will be sent after they click your link and this is where
their name and email address will be captured. On this page, you will want to
entice your customer with something free in exchange for their name and email.
Free videos, checklists, guides, ebooks, reports, etc. (if you don't have anything
you can give away yet, I recommend checking out theplrstore.com and buy an
inexpensive plr product you can give away for free) When you build this page,
you will want to integrate it with an email autoresponder. More on that in the
next step.

Bridge Page

This is where the users will be sent after they enter their name and email
address. On this page, especially if your face is branding the product, you will
want to have a short 2-3 minute video of yourself saying "Thank you for your
name & email I am so excited you are here" or "Congrats on making it to this
page, most people don't even get to this far." Be sure to entice them with your
offer and show it off just a little bit so they will click that button to go over to your
actual affiliate offer. By having this page, you build trust and realness between
you and your potential customers.

Affiliate/Offer Page

This is your affiliate link and ultimately where you want to send your customer.
As you design your funnel, you will also need to figure out a way you can
differentiate yourself from everyone else. Are you going to offer bonuses for
people who buy through your link? Are you going to differentiate by the type of
content you make, who your audience is, what your offer is, etc.? The easiest way
to make this work is to be yourself and stay true to what you are offering. People
can see straight through the fake these days so it's better to start off just being
you anyway. Knowing and loving your product will make it so easy and that's
kind of a point!

There are many autoresponders to choose from it just depends

on what you like and what works best for you. This part can be
kind of overwhelming so make sure you are focused when
starting this process. Begin by writing your welcome/intro
email. This is the first email that should be sent in your sequence.
Be sure to include any freebie that you may have promised and
just kind of set the stage for what is to come with the download
and the following emails.

You also want to make sure to share a little bit of your story,
your struggles, & always be honest. Copywriting is truly a high-
income skill that is essential for writing convincing and
selling copy.
You relate to a lot more people than you realize so sharing
your struggles actually sells. You now need to batch create
your follow-up emails. This can be a struggle for most.

To start, makeup at least 10 emails to send

over the next 20 days. You can segment
these in your autoresponder to be
delivered every 2 days. You can send one
every day but we do not want to spam
our customers, we just want to remind
them we are there. Keep in mind we are
here to solve their problem & help them.
You can also send links in your emails to
other offers you may have.
TRAFFIC
Driving traffic is the fun/hard part of
affiliate marketing. It's fun because this is
when you can really let your knowledge and
creativity shine. It's hard because there is a
ton of competition and building a large
audience takes some time.

STEP 6:
engaging with your perfect customers
There are two types of traffic:

Paid & Organic.

Both have pros and cons, but at the end of the day, organic traffic is a
much better strategy for long-term growth. Paid ads are typically
better for short-term success. · Organic Traffic - The best strategies
will vary based on which platform you decide to promote on. That
being said, the best and fastest way to build organic traffic is by
creating content and posting every day. Whether it's a blog, podcast,
video, or live video, keep creating content for your niche and engage
with your customer. Consistency is the most important thing here and
this is where a lot of new affiliate marketers fail. The more consistent
you are with posting content, the faster you will grow. This is where all
your research from the influencers and others in your niche will come
in handy. A lot of people struggle with content creation when they first
start, but if you do your research you can model your posts and your
content from what other people are doing.

There is no need to reinvent the wheel! See what others

are doing in terms of images they use, videos, and
articles they share, then create posts in those styles. I'm
not saying copy exactly what other people, but see what
is trending or popular and make it your own.

You can also leverage people who have larger

audiences than you. Ask people if they want to fill out a
Q&A, or be interviewed on a podcast, or live. Have them
promote the interview to their own audience to cross
promote.

However, you decide to create content, make sure you

are consistently providing value to your audience.
Your content is a way for you to build trust and a
positive reputation with your customers, so make the
most out of what you post!

Generally speaking typical posting strategies for each

platform are:

TikTok: 4-6 times a day

Instagram: 1 post a day & 10 stories a day
Facebook: 1-2 times a day in your group (I do seven
days a week and i schedule all my posts in advance)
YouTube: 3-5 times a week Personal Blog: 1-3 times a

Paid Traffic - This is the best way to drive traffic quickly to

your affiliate links. All the major platforms allow you to
run paid ads. The key to running paid ads, regardless of what
platform you are on, is targeting the right audience
demographics. That is another reason why you need to know
your perfect customer inside and out. Down to the gender,
age, race, location etc. Creating an ad is very similar to
creating an organic post on any social media channel.
You'll need to make sure the message is resonating with your
audience.

Are you going to hit pain points?

Will you show the benefits of the product you're

promoting?

What are the images, videos, headlines going to say?

What is your bridge page going to look like after they

click your ad?

Whatever you decide on doing, the best piece of advice I can

give for running ads is to keep them all about your customer.

What are things they will want to see and hear?

Take yourself completely out of the equation and think

about what will resonate with them.
 STEP SEVEN:

repeat step six forever & remember we are playing

the long game of wealth At this step in the
process, your job basically becomes,

“How do I get people to click my links and buy

stuff?”

So consistency is key. You should try to engage

with your audience every single day. There is no
stopping either.

The best affiliate marketers in the world post on

multiple social media platforms, multiple times
every day. They continue to focus on their email
lists and create new emails every day. Affiliate
marketing can be a very lucrative business, but
there is no such thing as an overnight success.

Building up a large following will take time, but

if you work hard, are consistent with your
effort, and focus on building your email list,
there is no limit to the amount of money you can
make!
