Why you appear to hold British citizenship

You appear to hold British citizenship because you were born in the UK on or after 1 July
2006 and one of your parents was settled in the UK because they had indefinite leave to
remain in the UK and so not subject to any immigration time restrictions in the UK. A
person born in the UK on or after 1 July 2006 automatically holds British citizenship if
either of their parents was British or settled in the UK at the time of their birth.
