ROAD TO MINIMIZATION OF EMISSION OF POLLUTANTS

Aadarsh Kumar M.E 7376222CT101

Abstract:

Road to Zero Emission will require the cooperation of governments, businesses, and
individuals. Governments will need to establish policies and regulations that promote the
transition towards clean energy, while businesses will need to invest in renewable energy and
adopt sustainable practices. Individuals will play a critical role by making more sustainable
choices in their daily lives, such as using public transportation, buying energy-efficient
appliances, and reducing waste. The Road to Zero Emission is an ambitious project, but it is
an achievable goal. With the right policies, investment, and support, it is possible to create a
cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable future. Together, we can work towards a zero-
emission future, and ensure that our planet remains a hospitable place for generations to
come. Mainly Usage of E-Vehicles (Electric Vehicles) would be forming zero emission but
it’s been rolled out only in a few regions in India. But Surely, Electric Vehicles would be
dominating the world’s vehicle population. Adopting sustainable agricultural practices, such
as regenerative agriculture and conservation tillage, can sequester carbon and reduce
emissions from the agriculture sector.

Introduction:
The Road to Zero Emission is a global initiative aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
It would help reduce human activities impact on the environment, thus promoting
sustainability. Thus, it ensures that future generations inherit a cleaner, healthier planet.

Methodology:

Planting trees or plants nearby or in the middle of the road would lead to the absorption of
Noise and air pollution created due to vehicles. This will indirectly promote Afforestation.
The introduction of air purifiers in highly polluted regions would be helpful to reduce
pollution (DELHI). The emission of Pollutants in industries is to be limited. The use of
Renewable energy sources in place of non-renewable energy sources would be a remedy.
Providing incentives or offers to the citizens of countries who use electric vehicles for all
kinds of transportation is an example of transporting agricultural goods through electric trains
and trucks in the major countries.

Results and Discussion:

Finally, there would be a reduction in the number of greenhouse gases produced, such as
CH4, HFC, Ozone, C02, etc. It helps to mitigate the impacts of climate change, protect
biodiversity, and ensure a healthy planet for future generations.
