To Whom It May Concern,

I am writing this recommendation letter on behalf of Sara Lewis. Sara is a Grand Canyon
University Master’s Level Intern who is currently under my supervision. Sara has been working
clinically with clients in my group practice since May of this year.

Sara has exhibited a natural ability to actively listen with great empathy and attunement with her
clients. She actively seeks on-going training, reading books, and seeking out additional
supervision when needed. Her desire to grow and learn is apparent and she has shown a very
teachable heart. Sara has also shown an ability to be a “team” player, working jointly with other
therapists in my practice, providing collaborative care for clients and their families.

Sara has worked with children, adolescents, adults and families. She has shown competency in
assessing, diagnosing, creating treatment plans as well as completing progress notes in an
efficient and effective manner.

Sara has been a pleasure to work with and I have no doubt she will do very well in the field of
mental health as a licensed professional counselor.
