Trees provide us with many benefits necessary for survival, such as clean air, clean water, shade,

and food. They also give us hope and insight, and courage to persevere – even in the harshest
conditions. Trees teach us to stay rooted while soaring to great heights.
Tree planting is the process of transplanting tree seedlings, generally for forestry, land
reclamation, or landscaping purposes.
Praising trees is part of all life philosophies, just as life on earth exists because of trees. Trees are
one of nature's greatest wonders and one of its greatest gifts to humans and other organisms that
depend on them. Trees provide us with two things essential to our lives: food and oxygen. Apart
from that, trees also provide additional necessities such as shelter, medicine, and other
environmental benefits. Demand for wood is increasing. Sadly, people continue to destroy trees
without realizing the future consequences. Human activities are shrinking forest cover in many
parts of the world, and the lack of suitable trees is contributing to global warming.
Due to apathy and ignorance of human being, Humans are misusing natural resources, especially
trees, to the detriment of ecosystems. Activities such as illegal logging and deforestation for
development have had a negative impact on the environment. Thus, in our own naked eyes we
can now already witness the effect of this ignorance and apathy.
For these reasons, we believe planting trees is important to save Mother Earth. Trees are useful
not only for humans, but also for other living things. They give us a lot for free, they provide us
with a cool environment and an attractive environment, so we must plant more trees and act
responsibly. No.
To solve the ongoing destruction of Mother Earth from global warming and climate change, the
University of Cagayan Valley under the office of the Hotel and pantry in Partnership with the
office of research and extension as well as the Local Government of Tuguegarao City conducted
the Bamboo Tree planting at Pinacanauan De Tuguegarao or commonly known by the locals as
riverside on September 21, 2021 as one part of the community extension services of University
of Cagayan valley. The aim of this Bamboo Tree planting is to mitigate the floods in this area.
Since this area is known as flood prone area in Tuguegarao. It is high time for every individual to
participate in kind of activities to maintain the balance in the ecosystem.
All participants are enlightened about how significant trees are and were able to appreciate the
collaborative efforts of everyone. The participants planted 150 new bamboo seedlings and put
their hope in each seedling that it will mitigate the flood in this area. Participants are all happy
believing that tree planting helps connect people in the community to the benefits of trees and
foster environmental stewardship.
