and maintaining fruits.

 Grafting practice were done for mango plant.

• Visited Chili cultivated fields and identified different Chili
varieties.
• Covered Chili plants for prevent cross pollination.

 Study about soya bean hybridization.

 Hybridization of cowpea was done.
 Data collection was done by harvested cowpea yield.
(Pod length, seed size)
 Get Cowpea pod color and seed color using mensal color chart.

3  Hybridization of cowpea was done

 Parent lines were tagged for hybridization soybean plant
 Germplasm available in refrigerator were labeled and graded for
experiment during maha season(2022/2023)
 Cowpea yield data were collected (100 seed weigh, total weight,
pod color, seed color)
 • Agronomy division was visited and got knowledge about plant
cultivation practices.
• Black gram was harvested.

cultivation.

• Hybridization of soya bean was done(pb 01 * pm 13)

• Cowpea yield data were collected.

• Cowpea were harvested for yield data collection

• Parent lines were tagged for hybridization soya bean plant.

 Summary of the work In the first month of the industrial training, several works were done and learned.
for the month First, working procedure were identified in the institute. The fields were visited
and identified cultivated crops in the different fields. In the first month, several
divisions were visited and engaged with their activities. Chili, Coarce grain,
Onion and Agronomy divisions were visited. Then, got knowledge about data
collection of plants, pollination, operating some equipment (SPAD meter),
harvesting of some crops,etc.
