Notice on handling issues related to educational
On November 14, 2022, Nha Trang University issued Notice No. 962 on handling issues
related to education. Accordingly, focusing on solving problems including: updating and
systematizing documents on educational organization and management; promoting
information technology application; clearly define the roles and responsibilities of the
units in the implementation of related processes and regulations.
Enrollment Promotion Plan in 2023
On 11/11/2022, Nha Trang University issued a plan to promote formal university
enrollment in 2023. This plan is implemented to continue promoting enrollment
counseling and promotion on multiple communication platforms; expand the scope of
enrollment; improve the quantity and quality of inputs in engineering, technology and
fisheries….
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
Working with the Japan - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Council
On November 24, 2022, Nha Trang University welcomed and worked with a delegation
of the Japan - Vietnam Peace and Friendship Council (JVPF). JVPF wants to learn and
survey about planting trees for environmental protection in Khanh Hoa province to
implement green tree planting projects at suitable locations, contributing to
environmental protection and spreading the spirit of action for the local environment.
“Law propaganda week” - The mock trial in 2022
In order to promote legal propaganda and education among students and respond to
Vietnam Law Day 2022, the Law Department - Faculty of Social Sciences and
Humanities in collaboration with the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Court and Tran Quy
Cap High School held "Law propaganda week - The mock trial in 2022". Thereby,
students have the opportunity to learn and improve themselves with useful knowledge,
expand their knowledge and skills in the field of Law.
The tenth International Fisheries Symposium - IFS 2022 will take place at Nha
Trang University
Within the framework of the activities of ASEAN FEN (the network of Southeast Asian
Fisheries Training Universities), the tenth International Fisheries Symposium - IFS 2022
will be held at Nha Trang University from the 5th - December 7, 2022. This conference
aims to share the latest knowledge, introduce the most outstanding achievements in
scientific research in fisheries and aquaculture of member countries to the international
scientific community, create a forum for the international scientific community forum for
scientists and students to publish their research results.
COOPERATION
Discussing to cooperate with Sunchon National University
On November 21, 2022, Nha Trang University welcomed and worked with the delegation
of Sunchon National University (Korea). The two sides discussed cooperation contents,
including: student exchange for the period from 6 months to 1.5 years; exchange of
lecturers and staff; coordinate the organization of summer camps or winter camps in
2023; Cooperation in Korean language training, Topik exam preparation…
Cooperation with Alma Resort Cam Ranh
On November 17, 2022, Nha Trang University signed a cooperation agreement with
Alma Resort Cam Ranh. The two sides will focus on supporting students to study and
practice in the fields of: foreign languages, tourism, mechanics, electricity - electronics,
economics...
Training "Design Thinking - Inspiring Educators"
On November 26 and 27, 2022, Nha Trang University cooperated with Eye Opener
Works to organize the training course "Design Thinking - NTU Inspiring Educators".
Activities with the participation of lecturers and functionary of the University. The
training course aims to provide suggestions on creative solutions to perform well for each
individual; evoke the spirit of solidarity, creativity and responsibility in the staff of the
University.
The Next Banker 2023
On November 10, 2022, Nha Trang University cooperated with Asia Commercial Joint
Stock Bank (ACB) to organize The Next Banker 2023 – ACB. More than 300 university
students attending the program were introduced to The Next Banker 2023 – ACB. The
program also contributes to the opportunity to become a full-time banker for students
with appropriate skills and abilities after graduation.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
The Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee visited Nha
Trang University on the occasion of Vietnam Teachers' Day 20/11
On November 17, 2022, Mr. Nguyen Khac Toan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the
Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council visited,
presented gifts and congratulated Nha Trang University on the 40th anniversary of
Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2022).
The Congress of the Association of Former Teachers at Nha Trang University
On November 17, 2022, at Nha Trang University, the congress of the Association of
Former Teachers, term 2022-2027, took place. The Congress has summarized the
Association's term III (2017 - 2022); Reported on reviewing the Executive Board of the
Association of Former Teachers, term III. The Congress elected the Executive Board for
the term 2022 - 2027 and approved the mission direction for the term 2022 -2027. The
congress is also an opportunity to meet and exchange between former officials and
lecturers of the University to review the memories of the time of working and dedication
under the roof of Nha Trang University. The Executive Board of the Association of
Former Teachers of the School elected Dr. Nguyen Huu Trong holds the position of
Chairman of the Association for the term 2022 - 2027.
Organized many activities to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese
Teachers' Day
Towards the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 -
November 20, 2022), in November 2022, Nha Trang University organized many
meaningful activities to create a vibrant atmosphere. solidarity among officials and
employees throughout the school. At the same time, the school is also grateful to
generations of teachers and leaders who have made many contributions and dedications
in the process of building and developing the School.
Commendation of the school's athletes team
On November 24, 2022, Nha Trang University held a meeting and commended the
athletes participating in the Khanh Hoa University and Colleges Emulation Sports
Festival in the school year 2022 - 2023. Nha Trang University with 23 members,
participating in sports including volleyball slightly, badminton, table tennis. After a
determined competition, the team won 07 first prizes and 02 second prizes.
Performing Arts of the Faculty of Accounting - Finance
On November 19, 2022, the Faculty of Accounting and Finance held the final night of the
"Teacher Gratitude" concert with the participation of talented students from the Branches
of the Faculty of Accounting-Finance. The show was held to show gratitude to the
teachers, to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers' Day.
Art contest "Tourism Talent"
On November 17, 2022, the Faculty of Tourism's delegation successfully organized the
Final Round of the "Tourism Talents" art competition to celebrate the 40th anniversary of
Vietnamese teachers (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2022) ). From nearly 30
performances in the preliminary round, the organizers have selected 20 excellent
performances to enter the final round. The competition has also contributed to finding
new talents among generations of Tourism students.
Faculty of Foreign Languages organizes many activities to celebrate Vietnamese
Teachers' Day on November 20
On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20,
1982 - November 20, 2022, the Faculty of Foreign Languages - Nha Trang University
organized many meaningful and diverse activities. Outstanding activities include: English
Club with Teacher & Education theme; Art contest to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers'
Day; Chinese club with the theme of Calligraphy Writing - Gratitude to teachers.
Poster design contest to appreciate teachers
Faculty of Traffic Engineering held a wall newspaper design competition to celebrate the
40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day. The contest attracted more than 40
student newspapers, designed towards the following criteria: originality, beautiful design,
and insightful article content. In addition, the Faculty of Traffic Engineering also
organized a show of gratitude to teachers on November 20.
Students of Faculty of Foreign Languages visit Phuoc Tuong Shelter
On November 21, 2022, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages
visited and interacted with students at Phuoc Tuong shelter. Students of the Faculty of
English Language Teaching doing volunteer work in shelters is an important and
meaningful activity of the Phase II English Community Development Project chaired by
the Faculty. The project is funded by the US Consulate in Ho Chi Minh City.
