1. PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND OSERVATIONS

Relevant Previous Skills:

Students in this class have improved massively on their free hand sketches, designing their project, and
even got more creative. They improved their portion and sketching with the cube method, their
sketches look a lot less skewed and more visible and clearer on the page. Students have pervious
knowledge with making a cross halving joint.

Observations (Previous Lesson):

As I have said above this class has improved massively on their free hand sketching by using the cube
as an outline to help their sketches look more portioned and less skewed. Most students have got kore
confident in their drawing since I have started teaching.

2. LESSON RATIONALE

Brief outline of WHY this content is the basis of the lesson- what are your reasons for KEY
planning the lesson in this way? (Bullets or 1 para) *

This lesson is about mixing the sketching with practical. Once they have sketched the joint to NL
aa perfect standard, they will move on to a practice piece and practice their joint before RL
completing it in their project. By getting them to practice they will be able to recognize the
mistakes they have a made and know what the watch out for when making it again and better.
By getting the students to complete an exit card, this will help reinforce the new learning of
the lesson.
