1.0 INTRODUCTION
Eleven (11) vendors were invited to bid for the low voltage (LV) Power and Control
Cables. Six (6) bids were subsequently received and the bids range in prices as follows

OHM International TT$ 919,216.90
Gaffney-Kroese Supply Corporation TT$ 1,127,571.24
ECM TT$ 1,004,940.00

2.0 EVALUATION OF BIDS

2.1 TECHNICAL
The six (6) bids were evaluated for technical compliance and all were found to be
technically compliant.

2.2 COMMERCIAL.
The prices of the six (6) technically compliant bids ranged from TT$876,537.80 to
TT$1, 752,645.20. Delivery periods ranged from 4-6 weeks to 12-16 weeks.

 The lowest technically acceptable bid was submitted by EIL with a bid price
of TT$876,537.80 and a delivery period of 12-16 weeks.

3.0 RECOMMENDATION
It is recommended that an order be placed with EIL for the supply of items 10 to 70 of
PREQ 10251906, at a total price of TT$876,537.80 and a delivery period of 12-16 weeks.

4.0 JUSTIFICATION

 Technically acceptable
 Lowest Bidder
 Delivery period of 12-16 weeks supports the project schedule
 EIL is a registered supplier with Petrotrin and has provided acceptable service to
Petrotrin in the past.
