Interest Payable by/to Assessee

R submitted his return of income for the assessment year 2011-12 on 15.12.2012. The
due date for filing the return of income in his case was 30.09.2011. R in this case shall
have to pay interest:
(A) 1.25 % per month or part of the month
(B) 1 % per month of part of the month
(C) 1.5 % per month or part of the month
