Sub: AA & ES for purchase of Ink Cartridge for Digital Franking machine.

This case pertains to purchase of Ink cartridge for the Digital Franking Machine. The Ink cartridge of
the Digital Franking Machine, which was purchased in the month of ---- is about to exhaust and
hence it is becoming difficult to frank the documents.

In this regard a budgetary quotation has been obtained from the authorized dealer M/s Silicon
Computech P.Ltd, Ahmedabad which only provides such type of cartridges for Digital Franking
Machine. It has been confirmed from local market that there is no agency available which can
provide this type of Ink Cartridges required for Digital Franking Machine installed at ONGC, Hazira
Plant.

As per Budgetory quotation dtd. 17/1/2023, amount involved for purchase of one cartridges is Rs
5,227.40(Five thousand two hundred twenty seven & Paise forty only) including GST as well
courier /delivery charge of Rs70. Which is placed at Annexure-4.

There is no hike in rates of the ink cartridge purchased last time, refer noting on page-1 above, and
the quotation obtained is based on LPR only.

DGM(HR) L-IV, may kindly accord AA & ES for an amount of Rs 5,227.40(Five thousand two hundred
twenty seven & Paise forty only ) under item No. 12.10 of BDP-2015, which is FCNR. As per record
the total utilization under 12.10 of BDP-2015 for FY 2020-21 is NIL.
