This notice serves to confirm that Rietvlei Mining Company (“RMC”) is inviting interested parties to
send their quotations to bid for the following tender:

2 Corner Posts: 2.4m x 100mm Diameter + 450mm x 2mm Galvanized
Steel posts
3 Stays: 2.4m x 48.5mm x 1.6mm Galvanized
4 Stained wire: 3.15mm lightly calvinized
5 Tie Wire: 2mm lightly galvanized
6 Gate: 4m x 1.8m Double-leave gate
7 Gate: 1m x 1.8m Single Galvanized security gate
8 All posts to be spaced at 3m centers and planted 600mm deep x
400mm square in 20Mpa Concrete.
9 Diamond mesh must be buttoned up on 3-Strand wires
10 Startup + Medicals + Induction Costs

• North = 159.52m
• West = 154.98m
• South = 169.75m
• East = 68.7m
Interested Contractors Must also Submit the following supporting Documents:
1. Company registration
2. Valid tax clearance certificate and VAT registration,
3. Valid BBBEE Certificate/ Affidavit
4. Proof of address (Municipal services statement or a letter from the Tribal Council)
5. Letter of good standing (workman’s compensation),
6. Proof of CIDB-grading. Minimum requirement would be Level 2CE.
7. Company profile with a list of previous projects successfully completed in the last 5
years, indicating applicable experience in the construction of roads and walkways, with
references for completed projects.
