GLOBAL WARMING IN THE EARTH

1- READING

Global Warming is the temperature of Earth’s

surface. Sea level is rising because the ice
is melting into the sea. Many cities will be
flooded in the future and lot of animals will lose
their habitats. When people burn fossil fues like
coal, oil and natural gas this adds carbon dioxide
into the air.

3- GRAMMAR: PRESENT PROGESSIVE

For actions in progress, temporary situations and new habits.

For example: We are studying English at the moment. I am

playing video games these days.

Subject + verb to be (am, is, are) + verb (ing) + complement

Complete with the correct form of the verbs.

a- The snow pattern is changing (change).

Cuando el sujeto está en
singular utilizar el verbo to be
b- The ice is melting (melt) these months. is (3º p) am (1º p) are (2ºp);
cuando está en plural utilizar
c- Corals are damaging (damage). solo el verbo to be are.

d- The plant life cycles are changing (change).

e- The sea level is rising (rise) now.
