Anne Elliot, a woman of noble descent who is polite, gentle, and sympathetic. Her
mother had died when she was fourteen years old, and she and her other sisters
were raised by Lady Russell, a close friend of Anne's mother. Sir Walter Elliot,
Anne's father, was a proud man and took great pride in his royal status. Her eldest
daughter, Elizabeth Elliot, has a character inherited from her father, as well as her
beautiful face. The two of them were always compact and considered themselves to
have a high status. Mary Elliot, Anne's sister who is also the youngest of the Elliot
family, has a character who thinks she is important in the family.
b. rising action/complication/name/chap/pg./
When she was nineteen, Anne fell in love with a young sailor named Frederick
Wenworth. Both agreed to get engaged and live their happy days. But that didn't
last long, because Anne's father objected to the young man's status, who was not
from the nobility. Likewise, Lady Russell, who already considered Anne as her
own daughter, felt that the smart and dignified Anne was not worthy of being side
by side with Frederick Wenworth, who was only a sailor in the early days of his
career and had no excess wealth.

up their relationship.

Years later Wenthworth returned with the establishment but already hurt. In fact, he
seemed to approach other women, namely Harietta and Louisa and made Anne sad.

appears intent on making Anne his wife. Not only that, there is also the figure of
captain Benwick who admires Anne's thoughts.

Anne Elliot
