I. TITLE : TARGET SETTING AND TEAMBUILDING ACTIVITY

II. RATIONALE:

Target setting forms a critical step in the plan formulation process. Targets and indicators should not be
confused with wider educational goals and objectives. They are not ends in themselves. At best their use helps to
improve performance and enhance accountability. Planning the ways in which targets will be reached in the
education sector should contribute to identifying better resource allocations and working practices; hence, the
school heads of Kolambugan District are planning to converge in a certain place for them to work as a team to
discuss about the plans for the next fiscal year and to set targets that are aligned with the DepEd’s vision and
mission.
Meanwhile, teamwork plays a very important role in an organization. Good organizational performance
can be attributed to the quality and nature of the team and the interaction among team members. It is therefore
imperative that institutions are seen to function and perform their duties as effective and efficient as possible.
Team cohesion, synergy and a shared vision are requirements for an organization to succeed. Thus, the
Kolambugan District school heads are also planning to have teambuilding activity to enhance effectiveness
which further motivates the members to work together, to develop their strengths, and to address any
weaknesses. In this way school heads are guided with what they are going to achieve and their collaborative
efforts would gear towards the successful implementation of their plans which yield productive outcomes.

III. OBJECTIVES

The activity aims to

1. Plan and set targets for the next fiscal year
2. Strengthen the ties among Kolambugan District school heads /District Personnel through Team
Building Activity

IV. METHODOLOGY

The Covid 19 Pandemic has greatly affected the educational systems worldwide. But this has never
impeded us to continue supporting DepEd’s commitment that “Education must continue”; hence the school
heads of Kolambugan District are planning to converge in one place to discuss about plans for the good of the
schools and Kolambugan learners.
In addition to that, the school heads are also desirous to unwind and provide themselves relaxing
activities after the stressful tasks done for the entire school year; hence they also plan to have Teambuilding
activity together with the non-teaching personnel in the district. Thus, they have agreed to have the Target
setting and Team building activity at RR Spring Resort Maramag to give themselves a break .
