Monster Multiplication Match-Up

Instructions
1. Shuffle the cards and place them face up in the middle of the
playing area.
2. Solve each multiplication problem using a method of
your choice.
3. Once you have calculated the answer, find the corresponding
answer card and place it with your problem card to make
a pair.
4. When all of the matches have been made, check your work
using a calculator.

Alternative Play
- Set a limit to the number of times each method can be used.
This means that you will have to practise of the methods, not
just your favourite!
- Make the task a competition! Play against a partner using the
same set of cards. Set a timer and see who has the most
matches when time is up.
- Use MAB blocks to represent each question. This will provide
a visual representation of the numbers you are working with.
