Ducks love to be in the water. They love to splash, throw water around, and
make a muddy mess. Chickens, on the other hand, choose to stay dry. Unlike
ducks, chickens do not have waterproof feathers that keep them dry and warm.
So, if a chicken gets wet, it can become sick. Ducks have oil glands. This oil
keeps their feathers waterproof.
Ducks lay beautiful, large eggs all year, and tend to be friendlier than
chickens. Both duck and chicken did share the same nest to lay their eggs in and
both decided to sit on each other’s eggs, so funny to watch!

Informational texts are nonfictional writing, written with the intention to inform
the reader about a specific topic. These are typically found in magazines,

Fishes are animals that can breathe under water because they use gills to
breathe instead of lungs. They use their fins for movement. Fishes have scales on
their skin instead of fur or hair. All fishes are cold-blooded animals, meaning they
get their body temperature from the surrounding water. When they have babies,
they lay many eggs at one time.

Better Be Safe than Sorry
We are living in a world where we cannot assure our safety due to Covid19
pandemic. Wearing mask and face shield are important when we are going
outside our houses. Proper handling of the things must also be given
consideration. Disinfection is important for us to assure that there is no
presence of virus and bacteria on the premises around us and the things that
we are handling. Better be safe than sorry. We only had one life and we need to love
and treasure it.
Nutritionists’ advise:
Eat breakfast for you to have the energy for the whole day. Breakfast should
be eaten within two hours of waking.
