ASSIGNMENT QUESTION

The objective of the assignment is to relate educational leadership practices with selected case studies and research.

PART 1: JOURNAL ARTICLE REVIEW (20%)

Review the following journal article on ‘Instructional Leadership: Its Role in Sustaining School Improvement in South African Schools’,

In your report, you need to include the following elements.

1) Key informants profile: detail the profile of these two key informants to be written descriptively (NOT in a table form)

2) Qualitative data analysis: Analyse the in-depth interviews descriptively and narratively in the qualitative method by themes. Include the mixture of

direct speech/reported speech. The theme should be at least FOUR themes. Please note that it is NEITHER in a dialogue/conversation form NOR raw data

(transcription). The following is the sample of your report should be.
