Hi everyone!

Thank you all for signing up for being part of this year’s STEM Jeopardy event! I’m very
excited to be able to work with you all and I hope that this event will be a success.

STEM Jeopardy will be taking place on April 13th, 2023 in the MUR starting at 4pm. There
will be a total of four rounds, which consists of three student rounds and one teacher round.
There will be a total of 25 questions from 5 topics in each round. There will be a variety of topics
that will be tested on throughout the event and in order to best help you prepare for the event, I
have attached a study guide entailing all the necessary topics to be aware of. For student
participants, please make sure to look through the three different rounds (Student Round 1, 2,
and 3) and let me know ASAP which round you would like to participate in! The teachers can
only participate in the last round. Also, please make sure to let me know your team names!
After deciding on the team names, be sure to make your team name poster (either paper or
digital). If it's digital, you can send it to me. Mrs. Hazlewood will have it printed out for you.

I have attached a flyer for the event as well and since this is a public event, I would appreciate it
if you could advertise it to the best of your ability!

Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns! The tech rehearsal will be happening on
April 12, 2023 and all students participating are required to attend. I will be sending more
emails in regards to information regarding rehearsals (teachers are NOT required to be present)
and other important information.

When saying the contact information of the members, do you want the email addresses of them
or are just the names fine?

I should be available on Tuesday after school. Are you planning on filming right after school?

Some information you can include is STEM Jeopardy is an event made to broaden the minds in
STEM knowledge for both participants and the public. It would be a fun event because people
might see some of their favourite participants and teachers. There are also popcorn and Jamba
Juice for sale!
