Procedure in Making Apron

Measurements Needed:

 Length – 34”
 Waist (round) – 18 2 = 9”
 Half-Bust - 92 =4.5” (Standard)
 Neck Strap – 24” long & 2” width
 Tie – 2 pcs – 20” long & 2” width

Procedures

1. The top and left edges of the pattern


will serve as the fundamental lines and
mark its corner with A.
2. From A-D is the line of fullest part of
the waist.
3. From A-B is the length.
4. From A-C is the Half-bust divide it by 2.
5. From D-E is the fullest part of the waist
divide it by 2.
6. B-F is D-E.
7. Connect C-E with a French curve.
8. Draw one 24” long and 2” width for the
neck strap.
9. Draw two 20” long and 2” width for the
tie.
10. Add ½ all sides for the allowance.
