    SAS Visual Analytics -Data Management

    Activity : Data Preparation


    1. Click on the Application Menu

    2. Select the Prepare Data Function

    3. Click on New Plan. Go to Available data sets and select : ACCIDENTAL_DRUG_DEATHS_2012_2018


    4. Save the Plan.

    5. You are now ready to process the Data Transformation activity. Complete the following
    activities and save your plan.
    6. Execute your data preparation plan and show results. Ensure all steps are saved in the PLAN.
    Tip: Add Transform to ensure all steps are saved.
    7. Activities required:
    a. Change the column name ID to case_ID. Execute.
    b. Change the content of Sex to all capital. Tip: Use Change CASE function
    c. Remove ALL space in the data for column InjuryCityGeo and save the transformed
    data as new column named InjuryCityGeoCompressed.
    d. Access only male cases.
