1. Project information

1.1 About this project

This project will feed 2,000 Dogs twice a day for four months (121 Days)

1.2 Motive & Aim of this project

The motive of this project is to create awareness that dogs are part of our nature and
surroundings. They have been loyal and faithful towards humans for centuries and
now is our time to pay back for their loyalty by feeding them. As we can see, our
four-legged friends live a very miserable life on the streets by feeding 2 meals a day.

1.3 What is the issue, challenge, or problem?

The main challenge is to increase public participation in this program as Stray Dogs
are often ignored and feared by society because of the danger of rabies and other
fetal disease and infections.
 1.4 How will implementing this project solve the problem?

Though there is a long way to go in order to solve the street dog crises in Delhi
NCR. However, in our program and awareness camp of 121 days, we will not only
feed the local stray dogs but also through our awareness camp will create awareness
among local people that these stray dogs/animals are dependent on us and that
feeding stray dogs/animals is a noble work and rather than throwing the leftovers in
the dustbins, we can give to the street dogs.

We will create a cycle of collecting the leftovers from local households daily,
processing the food, and establishing a feeding station/point for stray animals.

Once we are able to build the habit of feeding the stray animals among the local
household we won’t have to fund/continue this project any longer as the ultimate
goal of creating awareness among people about stray animals will be fulfilled.

2. Projected Calculations

2,000(Dogs) X 2 Meals Per Day X 121 Days = 4,84,000 Meals

Cost Pre Meal = (Donation Rs. 24,00,000) / (4,84,000.00 Meals) = Rs. 4.9/- Only
