Hl Normal operating conditions
1) Atmospheric conditions When the maximum temperature is 40°C, the relative humidity does not exceed 50%.
When the maximum temperature is 20°C, the relative humidity does not exceed 90%.
2) Ambient temperature (Tj) Normal ambient temperature: -5 °C to 40°C Permissible ambient temperature: -40°C
to 80° C Outside the normal ambient temperature range, the rated current value has to be corrected, the correction
factor is Kt. The formula for selecting the rated current of the fuse is ItInx Kt.

Ambient temperature
3) Altitude
The altitude must not exceed 200m. When exceeded, the temperature rise of the fuse increases by about 0.5K for
every 100 m rise. In general, the fuses used in open environment can ignore the influence of altitude on rated
current and still be selected in accordance with standard conditions. For fuses used in closed environment, if the
ambient air temperature of the box or the temperature inside the box does not decrease significantly with the eleva-
tion and can still reach over 40°C, itis necessary to reduce the capacity of the rated current.
‘The formula for estimating the rated current of the fuse is as follows:
1=In x (1-(h-2000)/100x0.5 100)

MH Maintenance and storage
1) Maintenance
Clear dust and check contact points regularly.
During maintenance check, cut off the power supply according to safety regulations. Do not remove
the fuse when the power is on.
2) Storage
The fuse should be stored in a warehouse with good air circulation, relative humidity (at 25°C) no more
than 90%, and temperature not higher than +40°C and not less than -30°C.
