    “A” is used before words that start with a


    consonant sound, and “an” is used before
    words that start with a vowel sound.

    A car CONSONANT- B,C,D,F,G,H,J,K,L,M,N,P,Q,R,S,T,V,W,X,Y,Z


    CAR starts with letter C
