Pre-contractual Adequate Explanations for a Fixed-Sum Loan Agreement regulated by the Consumer Credit Act
1974 (the “Agreement”)

Information For: Mr Gabor Farkas Of

63 Lavender Place
ILFORD
IG1 2BG

You must consider this document carefully before deciding whether to proceed with the Agreement.
Your Insurance Policy and Premium Finance
Your insurance broker has advised us that you have made an active decision to pay for your insurance premium with premium
finance instead of paying for it upfront, and that this is consistent with your best interests. Your broker should have explained
to you in writing that by electing to use our premium finance option, and paying by monthly instalments, it may be more
expensive than if you had opted to pay for it upfront in one lump sum. The broker should also have explained to you the
additional cost involved for using our premium funding service and that they may earn a commission (of which more about
commission is explained below).
The additional cost for paying for your insurance premium with our premium finance option is shown (a) below under section
“What you are due to pay to us under the Agreement” as the total amount repayable and (b) in the attached credit agreement
as the “Total C harge for C redit” under the section “Total Amount Payable”. If you miss payments when they are due, the
overall total cost of your premium finance may further increase because you may incur default sum charges. Your attention is
drawn to the sections in the credit agreement “C harges” and “Interest for late payment”.
Features of the agreement that may make the credit unsuitable
The proposed agreement is suitable for paying for the cost of services or products such as insurance policies, school fees,
membership and subscription fees provided by a linked supplier. It is not suitable for borrowing cash, for use as a credit card,
purchasing higher value goods, or consolidating other debts.
What you are due to pay to us under the Agreement
The total amount payable under the Agreement is £ 1411.90. Your payments under the Agreement will be 11 monthly
instalments of £ 128.35 commencing on the C ommencement Date Thursday, 21 April, 2022. The additional cost for paying for
your insurance policy with premium finance is made up of Interest of £ 184.16, (if any) and a Facility Fee of £ 0.00 (if any) and
are shown in the credit agreement under “Total Amount Payable”.
What could happen to adversely affect you
Your payments are due on the due date as shown above and on the Pre-C ontract Information and the Agreement. If you miss
a payment, we may terminate the Agreement (after service of any notice required by law) and commence action to recover
the outstanding balance of the total amount payable (less any rebate required by law). We may take legal action to recover
the debt outstanding. We may apply for a C ounty C ourt Judgment, which we may seek to enforce in a number of ways
including but not limited to your bankruptcy or a charging order over your home, which may result in your home being
repossessed.
What if you do not make your payments on their due date?
We will contact you as soon as we can to let you know you have missed a payment, and to discuss how the payment can be
made. We will also charge fees as detailed in the Pre-C ontract Information and the Agreement, which means that the amount
of your overall debt to us will increase. If you fail to then bring the agreement up to date, we will issue a Notice of Default,
proceed to terminate the Agreement and then cancel the Policy. The insurance company will then pay any refund of Premium
directly to us and we will have the right to pursue you for any shortfall. This could then lead to legal action and our
commencing action to recover the amount then due to us.
Your right to withdraw from the Agreement
If you wish to withdraw from the Agreement, you can do so within the first 14 days from the day after the latest of:
1. Where we sign the Agreement before you, and, therefore, the Agreement is made when you sign it, the day on which you
sign it; or
2. Where you sign the Agreement before us, and, therefore, the Agreement is made when we sign it, the day on which we
advise you that the Agreement has been made,
If you do wish to withdraw, you will need to pay the credit and interest accrued from the date the credit was provided to the
date of repaying it to us, without delay and not later than 30 calendar days after giving notice of withdrawal (the "Settlement").
The daily interest is £ 0.56. If you fail to pay us the Settlement within the 30 day period, we will have the right to request
immediate payment of it.
Any Questions?
You can ask us about the terms of the Agreement and for further information and explanations by calling us on Tel 01704
339500 or by email to info@granitefinance.co.uk.
Please note carefully: - Suitability of Credit
In assessing your application for credit, the C reditor will assess your ability to make the repayments. However, before
undertaking any credit commitment, it is important that you are satisfied that you can afford the financial commitment. Your
assessment should take into account any foreseeable future changes to your financial position. In entering into the Agreement
with us, you will confirm to us that you consider that you can afford the monthly payments shown in the section “What you are
due to pay to us” (and as shown on the Agreement) out of your normal monthly budget, and that you do not know of any
reason why this should change during the term of the Agreement. If you are unsure about this, you should contact us to
discuss it.
Roles & Commission
Motorcade Insurance only offers insurance credit from the C reditor and has not considered any alternative insurance credit
that might be available from other C reditors. Motorcade Insurance is linked to the C reditor because they are both members of
the same group of companies. If you enter into the credit agreement, Motorcade Insurance may receive a commission from
the C reditor for introducing you. If you ask us, we must tell you the amount of the commission, or the likely amount where the
precise amount is not known. Motorcade Insurance believes that the insurance credit which is available from the C reditor is
suitable for your requirements but you are free to obtain credit from an alternative C reditor.
