REPORT ON THE SUGGESTION OF A SPORTS CENTRE AT A

LOCAL UNIVERSITY

The aim of this report is to outline the advantages and possible

problems of investing money in a sports centre and make
recommendations.

Sports centres are often seen as a way for students to strengthen their
physical abilities by playing sports of their choice throughout their
university life. It was suggested that the centre could be set up to
recruit students from different faculties in order to discover innate
abilities and in the same way not only select people who already have
the talent, but also give advice and specialised training to all in order to
distribute them to the different sports at the university.

The main concerns that were raised are as follows

1. It can be very expensive in relation to the annual income of the
university.
2. Most of today's students do not care much about sports as they
prefer technology.
3. Some of these centres have been built at other universities and have
not been as successful as expected.

I am concerned that the sports centre will not be profitable at the

beginning. However, all things considered, the benefits outweigh the
drawbacks. Therefore, I recommend going ahead with the project.
