THQ Beginner Trumpet Warm-Up

A warm-up for beginners.
Follow the directions and play this
before you play anything else.

Estela Aragon

There are two long tone exercises: [A] and [B]. Play [A] if you are still
working on reaching middle C. Play [B] if you can easily play middle C.
*Middle C is in the 3rd space*

Long Tones [A]: Always play long tones with a metronome and be really strict with rhythm. Take a relaxed breath and play
each note as steady as you can. Don't let the note shake or dip.
