INSTITUTIONAL PRE LICENSING PRACTICAL TRAINING FOR FRESH

SURVEYORS FOR THE YEAR 2022

Insurance Institute of India is conducting Pre licensing training for fresh surveyors as per
IRDAI circular IRDA/SUR/GDL/MISC/068/03/2021 dated 01st April 2021. The training will
commence from 25th of July 2022. The candidates will undergo 2 months of training at College
of Insurance, Insurance Institute of India. Out of this 2 months, 5 weeks will be in virtual
classroom mode and 3 weeks will be onsite training under the guidance of an experienced
surveyor as stipulated by IRDAI. During this training, the candidates will be equipped with
knowledge of all branches of insurance along with soft skills. This specific course is designed
taking into considerations the practical aspects of syllabus, so that candidates are able to
quickly adapt to rigor of carrying out quality surveys and report writing.

Who can enroll?

Those candidates who have enrolled for the surveyor examination of Insurance Institute of
India (III) on and after 01st April 2021 & have passed the same. She/ he must have passed the
compulsory subject S-01 and the relevant subject for which License in sought. For e.g. if the
candidate wants to enroll for Fire and Crop insurance then he should have cleared the paper S-
01-Principles and practice of General Insurance and Insurance Survey and Loss assessment
and also papers S-02(Fire) and S-09(Crop) respectively.

Candidate can enroll for maximum 3 subjects at a time.

Training onwards surveyor as per IRDAI guidelines.
Final The date and time for the final practical test will be intimated after the
Practical Test conclusion of onsite training.
Important Notice:
1. Course Fees to be paid- Rs.59, 000/- (Rs.50, 000/- + 18% GST) per participant.
2. The cost for practical onsite training to be imparted by surveyors/IIISLA
has to be incurred separately by the participants.

4. After registration we will share the schedule of the training with participants in detail.
5. On successful completion of training and final practical test, the following documents will
be sent to IRDAI for issuance of license
a) Certificate of completion of Virtual Class Room Training from III.
b) Certificate of completion of Practical Onsite Training from surveyor.
c) Result of the online test conducted by the III at the end of 8 weeks training,

Candidates who have opted for Non institutional training for 6 months with the experienced
surveyors would be allowed to take the final practical test at a fees of Rs 2500/- + 18% GST
along with those undergoing 8 weeks of Institutional training conducted by III. The dates for
these exam would be announced on our website in the month of September 2022.
