We are a children welfare group of devotees from ISKCON (International Society

for Krishna Consciousness) Indore serving the Society under the name of ACTIVE
(Abhay Charan Teaching Institute of Vedic Education).

The idea of Vedic Gurukulam was first conceived by His Divine Grace AC
Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada (an Indian spiritual teacher and the founder of
the ISKCON). He said, “The old system of Gurukulam should be revived as the
perfect example of a system designed to produce great men, sober and
responsible leaders, who know what is the real welfare of the citizens”.

Inspired by the vision of Swami Prabhupada, ACTIVE affords to its student

essential trainings, which focuses on progressive self-sustainable holistic model,
to make one academically overdoing, physically lions, economically smart, socially
shelter figure and leaders for tomorrow. We reach out to students to share the
valuable knowledge of wisdom literature in instilling Character, Competence and
Culture in them.

Once a lame man climbed on the shoulders of a blind man and directed him along
the correct path. They co-operated with each other to escape a fire. We have tried
to couple this modern education (blind man) with Vedic education (lame man). Our
efforts have been found very effective for children in succinctly understanding and
practicing simple techniques to enhance the quality of their life. As you know the
modern times are characterized by depression, hypertension, self-destructive
addictive habits among students. Our noble goal is to reach out wisdom to save
the children from degradation, live a noble life of character, fulfill one's academic
duties without distraction and pave way for a brighter future of India.

Since your organization is an esteemed one and well appreciated for back-
breaking efforts to extend services for the benefit of the students. It seems like if
both of us join hands together, we can grow from strength to strength, creating
ripples in the society. We request you to kindly help us by recruiting 3 teaching
faculties for ACTIVE students. Your support means a lot for us and the children
studying here. We are very grateful for your kind contribution for this great cause.
