I met Ms. Clement in 2023 at her home, I did this school-based assessment to find out more
about Ms. Clement and her life in theatre art and learn more about her play and her
experience.
PRESENTATION OF FINDINGS

Ms. Jo-Ann Clement lives in Rio Claro and she also have been practicing Theater Arts for the

her everyday life. She also has her Practitioner’s Certificate and bachelor’s degree in Theater
Arts at the University of the West Indies located in St Augustine.

Ms. Clements also said when completing her degree, it was the only selfish thing she did and is
one of her biggest accomplishments. Her first play that she wright was ‘Real Unity’ but
unfortunately it was never produced, she den moved on to write other plays such as ‘When you
cry’ that was her first ever play that produced and went on to win a Mother’s Day contest.
While conducting this research I gained a lot of knowledge about Ms. Clement like the fact that

REFLECTION

Sometime thing get a little complicated but don’t let you overthink put you
in a situation where way you want to give up . By choosing theater art make me
notice giving up is not an option. While doing this SBA it was very stressful at
times sometime my mind dose jess get distracted and I got lost in where I reach.
But mostly want to thank my teacher for explain everything and making it
understandable. One thing I learnt from studying Theatre Arts for the past 5 years
is that working with others is not all so bad, it was fun and also getting to know
each other very well as one of my teachers told me the that the Word itself say I’m
possible so whatever you believe you can achieve.
CREATIVE PIECE

Being a cxc student is very challenging especially when SBA are due for but
every success, I hard work you just have to push yourself and keep trying. During
this pass two year it was really hard but I never give up and I kept going with the
of my teacher and my friends so let this be a lesson ,given up is never the answer
