with supplies. Three shOes. five sOcks. three pair Of pants.

the room. One wristwatch.

JUBRIL (21) reflects in a tall mirrOr as he adjusts his shirt,

Looking quite handsome, With a coily hair, he smiles looking
younger than his age, Jubril is timid with bright eyes.

Satisfied his shirt's finally On straight, he sets the timer

On His wristwatch strapped tO his wrist tO 5 hOurs. BEEP!
5:59:59... 5:59:58...

Jubril turns back tO the mirrOr and carefully cOmbs his hair
with the help Of his fingers and And some apllied hair cream.
when a FLASH Of LIGHT in the mirrOr draws his attention. With
a GASP he turns tO the window and spOts:

THE RIDE! The sound of a car driving int Jubril's parents

house could be head as the car drives into the compound and
parks.

His Uncle Jamiu Just arrived, and its his first time of
bringing his family over for dinner Jubril's House. Uncle
Jamiu Is Jubril's Mom's Younger Brother, and he has two girls
19 and 16…

CUT TO:

INT. Jubril HOUSE - DAY

JUBRIL stands at the entrance of the house, waiting for his

Uncle Jamiu and His two Cousin to enter into the House. We
zoom on the Dinning Table That is well arranged with food of
all types,ranging from fruits, to salads, to red wine , glass
cups and various other types of food.
We Zoom Back to jUBRIL Who was stillwaiting for his Uncle and
his cousins to enter. Just Then The door rings and Jubril loks
excited as he moves over to the main door and opens the door.

Uncle Jamiu and his two daughters emegers, as they exchange

pleasantries.

JUBRIL
Welcome Uncle

Uncle Jamiu sees him and hugs him so tighr

UNCLE JAMIU
( Hugs Him)
Jubril !! All grown

As Uncle Jamiu hugs him, it suddenly looks like their is a

mirage of vision, as we could see Two cousins discussing about
JUBRIL.
JEMINA the 19 year old and her sister jena was busy body
shaming and gossiping their Cousin Jubril.

JEMINA
( Talking to Jena who is
standing close with her,
gossiping JUBRIL)
Who is this one that looks like he
is been imported from some strange
places.

Jena reponds to Jemina.

JENA
( Talking to Jemina)
Dad Said he is our cousin, He looks
like he is born without tongues.

Both burst into a big laughter. And the laugh echoes, flashing
repeatedly right on the screen causing a flashy sensation like
a roar on JUBRIL'S mind like the talk was right in his head.
As the loudness and flash continues.

It looks like it was a moment from Jubril Imagination as his

two cousin were actually greeting and admiring him and not
just what he imagined.

( Extending pleasantry)
Nice seeing you Cousin Jay!!

JUBRIL kind of holds himself together, looking all normal.

JUBIL
Welcome Uncle Jamiu and Nice seeing
you, Welcome to our home.

Uncle Jamiu, Jena and Jemima beams a cool smile.

Jubril this are your Coucins and
This is Jubril your cousin Girls, I
call him Jay.

They all laughed as Jubril leads them to the dinning…

At the dinning Jubril Mom comes out from the Kitchen with
fried plantains.

Its so nice of you to bring my
neices around to see their Aunty.
Hoped their mom came but…..

There mom will surely come next
time. And I am hungry..

into the Food…

Jamiu Prayed and they start eating, their is a background song

playing at a minimal volume.

A the food eating continues, the cousins and Jamiu spoons were
making noise like a ding bell and that suddenly created a
sudden image in Jubrils mind.

JUBRIL
As the spoon from his cousins and
his uncle makes bell like sounds,
it creates a visual of him in a
dark room.

Montage

Jubril in a Darkroom, as he wanders in the room, we hear a

loud bang of a bell ringing per time and each time it sounds,
it gives him headache in the dark room.

End of MONTAGE.

Back to the dinning….

He comes back to the present out of his illusion and images

sound can create in his head. He had stopped eating and his
mom noticed, as he has not even eating from his food.

JUBRIL (CONT'D)
Jay! Why are you not eating your
food, dont you like it.
Jubril, comes back to life on
hearing his Mom.

JUBRIL (CONT'D)
( Hesitates a minute to
answer)
Oh mom!! I am fine the food was a
bit hot, its cold enogh now

Jubril takes a bite.

Suddenly there is a discussion going on at the dinning table

between His Mom, His Uncle and His Cousin.
They were all talking almost at the same time.

We see Jubril sweating, and as he keeps hearing them speak, We

see a close transition of each person voice sound like a
giants voice in JUBRIL ear.

We zoom close to His mom whose words sounds like a mockery of

Jubril as translated in hus stuttered vision, same from his
cousins words.

Suddenly a spoon falls to the ground and he comes back to real

sense. His Mom, Uncle and Cosins were randomely talking about
he food,

JEMIMA
Aunty this meals are just too good
to avoid

JENA
I will surely have to take some
take aways home.

UNCLE JAMIU
Talking to JENA and JEMIMAFood
mungers.

JUBRIL MUM
Please My neices should be allowed
to eat and do take aways from their
aunty house.

JUBRIL is sweating and he is beginning to have head ache.He

excuse himself from the table.

Mom Uncle Excuse me please, will
need to use the rest room.
Jubril Mum! Seeing him sweat..

JAY hope you are okay.
JUBRIL (CONT'D)

Mom I am fine, juts have to use the convenience room.

BACK TO:

THE PRESENT FROM A DREAM.

INT. JUBRIL BEDROOM - DAY

We open shot on Jubril who is Laid out upOn his bed like king
of his palace, as he suddenly wakes up from a dream. Sweating
so heavily. He opens his eyes suddenly, looks around like he
was looking for something that was lost, still on bed weting
every of the area around his bed sheet with sweat.
His hand shakes a bit, his eyes blinking and everywhere in the
room suddenly goes so quiet like the grave yard.
Jubril stands up from the bed, then walks up to the table in
his room, that had a bottle water and a glass cup.

JUBRIL
( Looking weird and very
sweaty,Pours the water
into the Glass Cup, then
he drinks from it like
Panda will gump down water
quickly from river brooks.)

As he tries to seat down and take a rest, his Phone starts

ringing and suddenly it looks like the sound of the Phone is
sounding quite very large, his head begins to bang, and
suddenly he kind of seats back on the Bed and his Heart begins
to beat really fast(We see a visual picture of a heart pumpig
and beating).

We could hear every minute beat of his heart.

The beating of his heart had, increased, as the phone rings
again, again and Again.
 6.

IT ALL LOOKS LIKE JUBRIL KIND OF PASSED OUT, LAYING QUIET AND
NOT MOVING AS WE SE ON THE BED. THE PHONE HAS STOPPED RINGING.

Suddenly we hear a voice of her mum calling out to him for

Dinner.
JUBRIL MOM(O.S.)
Jay! Jay! Jay! Dinner is served!!
The phone has stopped ringing, and Jubril opens his eyes, as a
result of the voice of her mom calling from outside the shot.
He stands and sits up on the bed, his hand shakes a bit, he
breathes in and breathes out, kind of also breathes up and
breathes down. He stands and quietly walks towards the door
that leads him out of his room.
CUT TO:

INT. JUBRIL HOUSE - NIGHT

We see him on the dinning, calm as he eats his food, without

saying anything.

And suddenly his mom calls him from inside the house, for a
moment he kid of gets a little shock from the sudden call, but
he adjusted and answered his mom.

JUBRIL
Yes Mom! I am eating.
