Introduction

Greetings- Mapagpalang umaga po sa ating lahat.

Talk about your Content

I’m going to talk about LOVE this morning. I’m pretty sure that everyone here knows about it
and have experienced it. I have thought about this topic, about LOVE before it was given to me. I believe
that LOVE for GOD is the great foundation that we should teach our Children, so when this topic handed
to me, I felt that it was really meant for me. Although I was also hoping for another topic that day, which
is Self-Control kasi I was having a hard time controlling my appetite and I am continuously gaining
weight. Kidding aside, I also realized that this subject is also common for everyone. LOVE, we are all here
because we experienced the love of God from us. So how can I talk about LOVE when everyone knows
about it already? I was having a conversation with God and I asked him to help me with this subject. And
God is very generous for giving me ideas. So are we all ready?

LESSON PROPER

What is LOVE?

Maraming meaning ang LOVE when you googled it ang dami nila. Even sa bible, So there is one verse in
the bible that I will use

2 John 1:6 (NKJV) - "This is love, that we walk according to His (God's) Commandments. This is
the Commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it."

To walk according to God's Commandments means to obey God's Law. We all know that ang pagsunod
We KNOW that..

We know that God loves us, because He gave us his only Son Jesus Christ.

We know that we love God because we obey his commandments.

But do we UNDERSTAND it.

The difference between knowing and understanding is that “knowing” is being aware of a fact or
incident and also acquiring any skill while “understanding” means actually to process and perceive the
information we just gained.

Understanding means to process ( ibig sabihin it will take time for us to understand something) and
perceive (to notice or belief.) the information we just gained.

Give example about teaching English to children.

We know that God Loves us but it will take time for us to understand that LOVE. Because we have to
experience it first. Experience is the best teacher di po ba?

How can we experience and understand God’s Love

1. Accept Jesus as your Saviour

Romans 5:5 says, “Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our
hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

Nung tinanggap mo si Jesus as your Savior you also received the Holy Sprit and God’s Love has been
poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit.

Because you have the LOVE of God na binuhos sa atin ng Banal na Espiritu.

Maging sa Pag ibig hinid tayo dapat nagmamalaki. Dahil hindi din nagmula sa atin yun.

Testify..

ginagawa nila. Hahahaha.

Now that I know that I have the love of God in me bakit puro struggles pa din po ang buhay ko?

Because your Love and your Faith has been put into test.

Again, Romans 5:5 says, “Hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our
hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.”

2. HOPE

Verse 3: Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces
endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope.

How can we stay in love with GOD.

1.Reading God’s word- learn about his ways, his words

2.Spending time with God through prayer. Talk to him every day. Whenever you feel like it.

3. OBEYING God’s Word

2 John 1:6 (NKJV) - "This is love, that we walk according to His (God's) Commandments. This is
the Commandment, that as you have heard from the beginning, you should walk in it."

To walk according to God's Commandments means to obey God's Law.

In the New testament Jesus break down the ten commandments in to two.
Mark 12:30-31 (NKJV) - "And 'you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your
soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second, like
it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than
these."

To really understand God’s Love for us we will undergo a process because understanding comes with a
process and perception.

I underwent the process of understanding the LOVE of GOD, and I am now on the process of STAYING IN
LOVE with GOD.

For my short testimony

I came from a broken home, I am the eldest from my siblings. I did not have the same childhood with my
friends. Kasi kailangan ko maging responsible at a young age. And there were so many expectations
from me, kasi panganay nga po ako. My mom and my siblings became born again when I was in grade 4.
Imagine those years. The process that I’ve been through to understand God’s LOVE.
