Nivel 6 - Tarea Comprensión-Producción e Instructivo para Subirla-1
(1) Watch 2 videos that illustrate examples to talk about a restaurant review.
(2) Write a series of ideas that include the following information:
-Name of the restaurant
-Location
-Characteristics of the place
-The type of food the restaurant offers
-Quality of the food and service
-Some positive and negative aspects
-A score you would give to the restaurant (from 1 to 10)
(3) Write a script describing the information mentioned in (2). That script is what
you are going to say in the video.
(4) Record a short video (minimum 1.5 minutes - maximum 2 minutes) talking
about the topic.
(5) Send only the video. DON’T send the script.
1. Watch the following videos, that can give you some useful ideas for the development of your
own video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1U30dgtElY
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rA8z7ci_W7M
For your own video, you don’t have to be in the restaurant, just some photographs will help you
illustrate the place ;)
2. Organize your ideas to write the script for the video. You can talk about all of them or choose
some.
3. When rehearsing, record yourself using your telephone voice recorder. It’s an opportunity for
you to detect mistakes in all aspects (vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, fluency, etc), and
take notes for correcting. [Cuando estés ensayando, puedes grabarte a través del grabador
de voz de tu teléfono. Te darás la oportunidad de detectar oportunamente posibles errores
en diversos aspectos –vocabulario, pronunciación, gramática, fluidez, etc.- y tomar nota
para su respectiva corrección]
4. Use the “Google Translate” speaker icon to solve your pronunciation doubts. [Puedes
utilizar el ícono de parlante de Google Translate para resolver tus dudas de pronunciación]
5. To record your video, you can use your cell phone, a computer or a camera. Please check that
the video you have can be played in a computer; sometimes, videos recorded in a cell phone
cannot.
At the beginning of the video, greet and introduce yourself (name, age and city).
Remember that YOU have to be talking to the camera. You can use visual aids, but I
want to see your face while you talk.
Remember to use the vocabulary you learned throughout the course or vocabulary you
are familiar with.
Pronunciation is very important; I need to understand and hear what you are saying.
Check the volume of your recording and make sure there is no noise around.
The length of the video must be minimum 1.5 minutes, maximum 2 minutes; longer or
shorter videos will be strongly penalized.
The sound has to be good. Make sure I can clearly hear you.
Condiciones importantes
