No: 06753-252191, E-mailzewengrh@gmail.com) ‘The child Mamali Pradhan aged about 10 yrs D/o- Muna Pradhan & Susama Pradhan of vill- Gothali, Po- Mangalpur, Dist- Ganjam, at present vill: Brahampur,Ps- Nuagaon, Dist- Nayagarh was produced before ‘the CWC ,Nayagarh and now taking shelter at Anatha Paritykta balashram Laxminarayanpur ,Ranpur since last 06 years. On perusal of home study report submitted by Pritimayee Parida, Child Welfare Officer of the concerned children’s home it came to our notice the father of the child leaving the child residing elsewhere since 09 years and his whereabouts is unknown. The mother also engaged as maid servant and now working at Chennai. The family has no ‘other sustainable source of income or any landed property. The mother has also developed love relationship with another person. AS we ascertained the mother is engaged in building her new life and has no time to take care of her child. Her application dt.18,04.2016 clearly depicts she cannot able to decide and protect the future of the girl child, The child is not interested to return her home .Hence we feel the child is a CNCP one. As Sec 2 (14) {V) of J) Act 2015 which speaks “who has a parent ora guardian and such parent/guardian is found to unfit or incapacitated by the committee to care for and protect the safety and well being if the child”. On perusal of the ICP ,the child is interested to her study and she is good at sports . For the time being there is no other alternative rehabilitation measure except institutionalization. Hence the child may stay and take shelter in the children’s home till she attend majority . The Secretary of the aforesaid Children’s Home is required to provide Long term rehabilitation measures keeping the need and interest of the child.
