Stage 1: Inquiring and Analyzing

Step1: Explain and justify the need

Utilizing technology is essential in today's environment, particularly when it comes to education.
Students from all around the world must embrace the modern technology advances. Technology
now plays a significant role in every student's life because it has an impact on education as well.

Today's students find it impossible to picture their studies without the internet and computers
because they make getting work done and getting aid quick and easy.

In addition to accelerating speeding work and assisting in university courses, modern technology

gives students many more advantages when making decisions based on their academic
performance.

Step3: Analyze existing products

Stage 2: Developing Ideas

Step1: Develop a design specification

The Lenovo Yoga 7i is designed to be used at school. Students don't need to worry about
bringing a charger because it is a well-built, portable laptop with a battery life of just over 15
hours of light productivity. The touchpad is quick, and the keyboard is comfortable to type on.
The display is clear and offers adequate room for multitasking, but it isn't bright enough to
prevent glare in well-lit environments. Its Intel CPU is capable of handling common student
workloads such as text formatting and web browsing; however, its integrated GPU is not suitable
for demanding jobs such as graphic design or 3D animation.

Stage 3: Creating The Solution
Stage 4: Evaluating
Teacher’s Feedback:
 “Poster looks like Jarir’s poster/ too formal/ not creative”.
I recreated the poster’s whole template and designed a new one from my creation.

 “Storage capacity considered is too low for student usage”

I increased the storage capacity from 256GB to 512GB.

 “Put a new price depending on the new storage capacity”.

I added 500 sar to the original price which was 5399sar and became 5899sar.

 “Processor is to old and not attractive enough”.

I changed the possessor from Intel Core i5 to Intel Core i7 (the latest).

Self-evaluation:
 Research:
- I was able to use my research skills to have a clear understanding of what
computer specification should be considered for certain purposes such as
studying and gaming.

 Self-management:
- I have been able to manage my time and to work on my feedbacks
immediately after they are given without any delays.
- I managed working on my project depending on a rubric I had to follow.

 Thinking:
- I used my thinking skills to decide on the intended computer while I was
comparing 3 devices.
- I thought on adding some attractive specifications on my product to make
it more effective and suitable for students to buy.

 Communication:
- I can clearly communicate my ideas and opinions with my teacher and
classmates.
