Week 1

1. Students enjoy getting to know each other through activities such as


- Rearrange yourself according to the first alphabet of your nickname
- Rearrange yourself according to your date of birth
- 2 Truth 1 Lie

These activities not only make the students know each other better but also improve students’
interactions.

2. Teacher try to identify students’ level of proficiency to make sure all activities after this suits
students’ level of proficiency.

Week 2

1. F.R.I.E.S technique make it easier for the students to justify opinion and elaborate main points
plus supporting details
- F.R.I.E.S represent Fact, Reason, Incident, Example, and Statistic
2. Some students have difficulty in elaborating their FRIES because of lack of vocabulary

Week 3

1. Students have no problem using expressions in a group discussion. However, they’re not dare to
interrupt when their friend was talking.
2. Teacher should build self-confidence among the students

Week 4

1. Students practice among themselves under teacher’s supervision.


2. Teacher focusing on overall performance and non-verbal language such as intonation and
gesture.
3. Some groups are struggling to reach a consensus within the time given which is 10 minutes

Teacher should come out with a technique on how to reach a consensus within a time given

Week 5

1. Students have no problem in understand the meaning of skimming and scanning


2. Students enjoy group activities.

Teacher should encourage students to help each other in a group activities
