What I Learned

In mathematics, sequence is an enumerated collection of objects in which


repetitions are allowed and order does matter. It can be finite or infinite. An
arithmetic sequence is a sequence where every term after the first is
obtained by adding a constant called the common difference. Thus common
difference is then constant amount of change between numbers in an
arithmetic sequence. For instance in the sequence -12, -5, 2, 9, 1,… the
common difference is 7 and the general term is 7n-19.
