    My Reflection:

    How has the American Dream changed over time? The stereotypical American Dream,
    in my perspective, consists of money, employment, a family, etc. Since everyone has a
    different definition of success, not everyone chases the traditional American dream, and
    not everyone finds satisfaction in material things. I think that some people have
    accepted that their definitions of happiness may differ significantly from those of others,
    but I also believe that the modern day American Dream places a stronger focus on
    materialistic things because so many people find fulfillment in matters of wealth and
    physical possessions, where as in the past, I think the American dream was more
    having the freedom to work hard towards what you want.
