B. For ESM candidates - The ESM having requisite degree or diploma in the relevant field

Certificate obtained by ESM from Armed Forces is not valid for appointment to the post of
SI/Fire in CISF.

C. Skill Test/PET/Medical Examination will be carried out for the said post as per
Annexure-I. Height & Chest Relaxation is also eligible to the candidates belonging to hill area

Details of Skill Test for the post of Sub-Inspector/ Fire in Central Industrial Security
Force (CISF)
Post Code – NR25623

Note:-
After qualifying the Online Examination and the scrutiny stage, candidates have to
undergo Physical and Medical Examination, which will be carried out by the Central
Industrial Security Force (MHA).

(a) The post is meant for Male candidates only

(b) The candidates will have to undergo the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) as under:-
1.6 Kms. Race : 6 Min. 30 Sec.
100 Meter race : 16 seconds
Long Jump : 3.65 mtrs in 3 chances
High Jump : 1.2 mtrs in 3 chances
Shot put ( 16 lbs) : 4.5 mtrs in 3 chances

(c) Each candidate will also undergo a detailed medical examination as per the prevalent
rules.
(d) The recruitment will be strictly in accordance with the guidelines issued by MHA.
(e) Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination will be conducted strictly in
accordance with the instructions issued by MHA.
(f) Candidates selected to the post will be liable to serve anywhere in India according to
the transfer policy of the Force.
