PROJECT

Team presentation

Students will apply the concepts studied during the course, to a project chosen from the
case studies outlined below (the instructions for carrying out the project are listed
hereafter). For this assignment is mandatory to work in teams.

A single case study will be addressed by a team of 5 or 6 persons. To complete the


course, students must have a minimum of 50 points out of 100 eligible for the project.

Instructions for the project assignment:

The project should deal with the following key - topics, in logical sequencing, as follows:

1. Vision - mission (max 5 points)

2. Analysis of the external environment (max.15 points)

3. Analysis of the internal environment (max.15 points)

4. Stakeholders’ analysis (max.10 points)

5. Organizational strategy and competitive advantage (max.10 points)

6. Organizational Structure (max.10 points)

7. Strategic planning (max. 20 points)

8. Conclusions (max.10 points)

The general aspect of the project presentation will be assessed with a maximum of 5
points (team presentation – each student will present the part that he/she elaborated,
clarity and coherence of the project).

It is not recommended to reproduce definitions and classifications as they are presented


in the course support ("copy-paste").

Assessment criteria: students should make references to the concepts studied and must
emphasise their use / applicability. The evaluation will take into account the analytical
capacity and coherence in the use of logical links between learning units and their team
presentation of the project. At the same time, both the approach of argumentation
through creative and autonomous thinking, as well as the elaboration of conclusions
and recommendations generated by critical observations based on the studied
concepts, are evaluated.

Each team has max. 30 minutes time slot for presentation (max. 16 slides)

Note! All projects will be done in power point (no pdf documents accepted) as one
document with all chapters in cursive order. Each chapter will have the name of the
student which elaborated it.
Projects will be presented in classroom session.

Information for case studies can be gathered from official sources (e.g.: newspapers,
company websites, official reports and statistics, etc.)
