MOTIVATION. REBUS!. (5 mins) (Rebus is a word puzzle in
which syllables of words and names are represented either by
pictures of things that sound the same or by letters )

The teacher will prepare set of rebus about the word BICOL
(rebus available at MAPEH 7 Attachments – Arts Folder Lesson 6.
Teachers may prepare their own rebus) and will post it on the
board. The students will be tasked to decode the word in the
easiest possible time. Answer will be written in a small sheet of
paper (or any available paper to write on). The first to decode the
rebus correctly will be rewarded (The teacher may give any form of

Activity: ARTS INTERPRETATION. (10 mins) The teacher will


post a painting showing a Family bonding in Bicol. The students will
be tasked to analyze the painting.

a. What are the different Bicol arts and crafts that are featured
in the video?
b. How do Bicolanos create their baskets, bags, slippers, coin
purses and other crafts?
c. How do Bicolanos give importance to their culture and arts?
(15 mins) The teacher will distribute Activity Sheets about Bicol
arts and crafts among the learners (see attached activity sheets).
This activity will be rated to evaluate students learning about the
arts topic.
