EDUCATIONAL DEBATE: GROUP 2

“CLIMATE CHANGE”

INTRODUCTION: Climate change is one of the major social issues that the entire world
population is facing right now. It refers to a long-term shifts in temperatures and
weather patterns due to hazardous factors such as pollution, burning coals, advanced
technology, greenhouse gases etc. All of this result in a drastic change in our climate
that affects our environment and It’s resources. To overcome the issue, In this video we
are going to discuss the important details about climate change.

ZERO CONDITIONAL:

1. If humans persist to burn fossil fuels, the holes in the ozone layer of the atmosphere
continue to increase.

: Human activities has been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to burning
fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas

2. If the greenhouse effect emits to release gases, it will trap the sun’s heat and cause
the planet to warm up.

: The rise in temperature due to the global warming which is the gradual increase in the
earth’s temperature caused by greenhouse effect, plays a huge impact in climate
change

FIRST CONDITIONAL:

1. If global warming continue to rise, people will have a hard time as they struggle with
the increasing heat.

: The continues rise of temperature can lead to a different kinds of complexities and can
have a detrimental effects on human health such as heat stroke, dehydration and
others.
