Simplified BIN Account Range Table

Reference Guide
The Mastercard Simplified BIN Account Range Table contains up-to-date active Mastercard valid issuing
account ranges that can be used for authorization routing and fraud prevention purposes. The Simplified BIN
Account Range Table available on select mastercard.com sites is intended for use by Mastercard merchants and
third-parties. An API version is available via Mastercard Developers and includes more detailed information.
Acquirers and Processors should continue to leverage the existing BIN Table they receive directly from
Mastercard.

The following table lists the fields and description of elements in the Simplified BIN Account Range Table
available on mastercard.com. The file (a zip of a csv) is refreshed every 24 hours.

Important Note: As BIN account range assignments change on a frequent basis please be sure to retrieve an
updated table on a weekly basis, at a minimum, to stay current.

Field Name Comments/Description

COMPANY NAME Customer name.
ICA Mastercard ICA number.
ACCOUNT_RANGE_FROM Low Primary Account Range (active only). The lowest possible account
number that would be identified within this authorization account
range.
ACCOUNT_RANGE_TO High Primary Account Range (active only). The highest possible
account number that would be identified within this authorization
account range.
BRAND_PRODUCT_CODE The Brand Product Code associated with the account range.
BRAND_PRODUCT_NAME The Brand Product Name associated with the account range.
ACCEPTANCE_BRAND Acceptance Brand (e.g. Mastercard, Cirrus)
COUNTRY Issuing Country Code. Licensed Country Code associated with the
account range.
