Context – Back to work

#1

Sorry that you feel sad going back to work.

It must be difficult to drag yourself to office, especially if you feel that you need to work regardless of
how you feel because you have a family to feed.

I hope you feel better soon about your job this 2023, be it same or another one.

That’s how you do it, Donnalyn, so that you have acknowledgement on the feelings of other people.

Don’t mind my grammar since we are not in a symposium.

#2

It really depends.

There are others who are sad because they are leaving their families for work because they are OFWs.

There are just too many other reasons.

#3

It is true that a person’s mindset is a big factor.

If you don’t like where you are, maybe there are things to be done for next year, you are no longer
there.

But because of how tough life is now, even though it is hard, I hope we have something to be thankful
for.

I don’t think it is the same with invalidating your misfortunes.

It is possible to do it at the same time.

We just need to focus on things that we can control.

The fact that you are healthy is a big deal already.

#4

Why are their sad people, because it’s already back to work?

It’s a trip of mine to work on January 1 because of a superstition that I will have work for the entire year.

We should be grateful because we still have a job.

If work makes you unhappy, I hope you will find a job that will.

Anyway, this is just a reminder that having a job is a blessing.

Change mindset, it’s 2023!!

On Grades

#5

Good morning, Admin.

(Sighs) Almost all the posts I see among the students of USM are all rants and discontents about their
grades being 3.0 or that they failed.

(Sighs) This is no longer high school.

We must be happy if we receive grades of 3.0 or INC because college life is about survival.

Being smart is not needed in USM.

What is needed is just to pass your subjects.

Let’s just accept (the grades) what we receive and enough with posting this and that.

Be thankful also to your teachers even if they failed you or gave you an INC.

Just accept it, okay.

Good luck to you.

#6

Why do you invalidate the feelings of other people?

If they are disappointed or they feel stressed then let them be.
What if they are aiming to be US or CS and they got a grade of 3.0, who will not be stressed about that?

If you are contented with the grades that you received, then good for you.

#7

Good thing I have not experienced getting 4.0 but 5.0, a lot.

#8

(laughs) At the very least I graduated.

US or CS, they all have the same salary when they have jobs.

Not graduating

#9

It seems that time won’t let me graduate.

#10

Why, Nov?

Let’s just fight on.
