DIVISIÓN DE EVALUACIÓN DEL PERSONAL Y RECURSOS PEDAGÓGICOS

ENGLISH IMMERSION PROGRAM

BASIC 1 – MIDTERM ORAL EVALUATION

Guidelines
The Midterm Oral evaluation for this level consists on a face-to-face individual
interview.
The teacher will call students one by one. Have the rest of the class work on
something (worksheet, workbook, Midterm Writing Evaluation) during the evaluation so
they are not disrupting. Also, try to keep a low tone so other students don’t overhear
questions. If it is possible, hold the interview in a different classroom.
Keep in mind the following:
 You should ask all questions in bold.
 Each interview should be a maximum of 5 minutes per student. Make sure
you keep track of the time.
 Teachers should NOT evaluate their own students in centers with more than
one class.
 You must only use the rubrics & grading sheets provided for this level. The use
of other level´s rubrics is NOT allowed.
 Teachers must upload the Midterm Oral Grading Sheet to the corresponding
OneDrive shared folder within a week after the administration of the
evaluation.
